AT&T West Contract Has Ratified!!!!

CWA Statement on AT&T West Contract Vote Today, members of the Communications Workers of America in District 9 (representing workers in California and Nevada) participated in counting the votes on the tentative agreement reached with AT&T West covering 17,000 workers. CWA members ratified the agreement by a margin of 58% to 42%.   Details to follow!

What we accomplished this weekend!

CWA , This weekend was historic - AT&T didn't think we would strike but we did. We showed them we are not settling for crumbs at the bargaining table and we will fight them until we get what we deserve. Tomorrow we return to work with our heads held high. 40,000 AT&T workers - 21,000 in Mobility - walked off the job Friday in the biggest labor strike in years.
